In a perspective of a lost fan/ex-fan, right?: If you’re Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, or Kendrick Lamar, and you say “I got love for everybody, fam…” whilst rapping to your peers, how would you respond/react if I always question you, your style, and/or magnetism for respect by either being like “Oh it’s like that?”, “What about me, fool?”, or “Look, man. I understand you’re getting your offerings worth, but you could’ve been more specific when you show your love for those that needs to understand you badly and those that were already down from day one. I know you don’t wanna hear none of this, but how I feel about it, I always end up taking it as ‘You love your fans or your rap peers, you’re a legend, but YDFWM though?’”
It really don’t always have to be “Pick me, pick me, pick me!” everytime. No matter how you look at things.
(And no, this will never be my intention to be at a point where I go demon-timing and squaring up if I come up to you with questions in my mind.)
